Find answers to commonly asked questions about Bite

How does Bite identify food from photos?

Bite uses advanced machine learning technology to analyze your food photos. Our AI can recognize thousands of different foods and ingredients, estimating portion sizes and nutritional content. For best results, take clear photos with good lighting and position your camera directly above the food.

Can I track my exercise in Bite?

Yes! Bite allows you to log all your physical activities and workouts. Simply tap the exercise tab, select your activity type, duration, and intensity. Bite will automatically calculate calories burned based on your personal profile and subtract them from your daily intake.

How do I set my calorie and nutrition goals?

When you first set up your Bite account, we'll ask for information about your height, weight, age, gender, activity level, and goals (weight loss, maintenance, or gain). Based on this data, we'll calculate your optimal daily calorie and macronutrient targets. You can adjust these goals anytime in your profile settings.

What if the app doesn't recognize my food correctly?

If Bite doesn't correctly identify your food, you can manually search our extensive food database and select the correct item. You can also adjust portions and ingredients as needed. The more you use Bite, the better it gets at recognizing your regular meals.

Is my data secure?

We take your privacy seriously. All your personal and health data is encrypted and securely stored. We never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent. You can review our complete Privacy Policy for more details on how we protect your data.

How can I get personalized meal recommendations?

Bite provides meal suggestions based on your dietary preferences, nutritional goals, and previous food choices. To get the most personalized recommendations, make sure to complete your taste preferences in your profile settings and consistently track your meals using the app.
